Best Star Wars Costumes for this Halloween!!
With Halloween just around the corner, I know you’re beginning to stress about what your costume will be this year. I know you’ve been eyeing the Galaxy’s Edge costumes and then seeing your wallet and thinking better of it. Well fear not, I’ve assembled a guide of awesome and affordable Star Wars costumes for this Halloween.
I’m a huge onesie fan, and there are a plethora of amazing Star Wars Onsies. I’m a huge fan of this Grogu onesie and you can even pair it with this Mando Onsie for a great group costume. This Chewbaka onesie is a comfy classic.
If you are crafty and have some free time sewing a Jedi costume is super easy. Here is a super fun and simple Jedi robe tutorial. If you want to be even funnier you can throw some blue tulle over yourself so that you become a force ghost.
I am also a huge fan of this rebel helmet tutorial. I followed it for my own costume last year and it worked great. Their whole YouTube channel has some great budget cosplay guides.
If you aren’t artistically inclined there is still hope for you. Han Solo is a super easy costume. All you need is a black vest, black pants, and a white long sleeved shirt. If you want to spice it up a bit more add some cool belts.
Here is what I was able to find on amazon:
Vest– $8
Shirt – $9
Pants- $15
Assuming you own none of those items your total is $32, Which is pretty good for a whole costume. If you’re willing to spend some more money this Blaster Replica is only $20 and looks pretty cool. You can even pair it with the Chewbaka onesie I linked above for a great group costume!
Another super simple costume that you can probably get at Target is Jyn Erso. You can accessorize as much as you want but all you really need is a brown vest, olive green scarf, black shirt, and black pants.
Here’s what I was able to find on Amazon:
Vest– $17
Scarf– $12
Shirt– $10
Leggings- $12
Assuming you don’t own any of this your total is $51.
If you’re willing to spend some more money this vest is more screen accurate for $26. Also, the Blaster Replica would work pretty well with this costume as well.
If you want to go even simpler, Luke in Return of the Jedi is the way to go. You will need a black turtleneck, black pants, black glove, and a green lightsaber (without the lightsaber they really won’t know it’s Luke). You could always buy your lightsaber here at SabersPro, but if you are on a budget there are cheaper options.
Here is what I found on amazon:
Turtleneck: $22
Pants: $15
Lightsaber: $15
Glove: $10
That brings your total to $62, assuming you don’t own any of the above.
I hope this was helpful. May the force be with you this Halloween!
