Hilt feels cheap, thought it was supposed to be metal, feels like plastic. Audio sounds cheap, not as good as products at Nsabers.
I purchased the Proffie 2.2 variant of the Luke EP6 saber, and I'm really happy with it. However, after a few days of normal use, the button fell out of the handle. I've reached out to customer support and am awaiting their reply. One other thing I should mention is that the cover that goes over the button is loose, it's not attached to anything, so you have to be careful not to slip it off. Despite this, it's overall a good product.
I owned an older “Luke” saber that was sadly stolen. This newer model has been upgraded in every way you can thing of. Better sound effects. Better trigger. Better charging port. Love it to death. Sad to say but I’m glad by old one got stolen so I was able to get this new baby
Great feeling. The sound effects are amazing. each feature brings so much realism and enjoyment for a fan. LOVED IT!!
I've had my Katarn saber since 2023, so the version currently available has been upgraded. Sadly mine doesn't have the app capability, but it is a Xenopixel and I am blown away by the difference between it and my RGB baselit saber. (From early 2019 and a different source, it's great but doesn't have any of the features sabers do now.)
The sound quality and brightness are most noticeable. The brightness in daylight is what stands out most--it's nigh impossible to tell what the blade color is on my baselit sometimes. Being able to switch between blade colors is fantastic! I just wish it had the app capability as I'm clumsy with the motion controls. Sometimes I'll end up switching options without meaning to.
Performance is great. It's very durable and the rechargeable battery is very appreciated. I probably don't keep it charged regularly like recommended, though--need to start doing that to maintain battery longevity.
All in all, I am 100% satisfied with my Katarn!
i bought this and i love it ..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Cool looking saber but I cant get it to turn off holding down the power button. There is no switch to cut the power either. I have to wait until the battery dies. Wth?
Hey there, the power switch should most definitelly work. If you unscrew the pommel and take out the electronics you should find a small switch there as well. It is used to save the battery when the saber is not in use.
Someon from our support is going to reach out to you about the switch issues.
Thanks for your order.
He does state that the color change stuff does not always work, other than that it’s super good
Navigating the website is really easy and it came almost a week earlier than expected.
As someone who only ever had the cheap products/lightsabers with low value materials, I love this thing. Playing around with it will probably never get old, and I can’t wait to try it out in a duel.
Heres the main things that I love:
- Excellent for tricks
- Great balance
- Beyond the outer-rim build quality
* Note: I got a neopixel!
The only thing I had a gripe with? Spinning the hilt too much causes a little bit of pain between my index finger and thumb., because of the friction and sharp corners. But thats literally it! Overall 5 stars!
I ordered this empty Luke hilt after reading the reviews and saw that two of the reviews had working cores. Mine just came in today and wouldn’t you know! The core functions perfectly, the only thing wrong with it was the battery was upside down. I ordered a second saber and a pixel blade off the site and I cannot wait!!!
Amazing saber! Has a nice finish and looks amazing. I wish it had other color options. The only issue I have is mine did not come with a stand or the blade plug. I reached out to support and I will be getting the items shortly.
