Everything we know about Ahsoka Season 2
The Ahsoka TV show was an absolute smash hit and left fans reeling for more. However, given that it’s a science fiction TV show, chances are we will have to wait quite some time for a second season. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t speculate. So, here’s everything we know about Ahsoka season 2.
The second season is expected to directly relate to Dave Filoni’s Mandalorian era culmination movie which is set to take place after both The Mandalorian & Grogu and Ahsoka season 2. The Mandalorian & Grogu isn’t set to be released until May 22nd, 2026 and chances are we won’t be seeing Ahsoka season 2 until after that.
Season 2 isn’t set to start filming until summer 2025 and given the typical Star Wars filming and post timeline chances are we won’t be seeing Ahsoka season 2 until at least summer 2026, probably later.
Due to the tragic and untimely passing of the actor who played Baylan Skol, Ray Stevenson, it’s unclear whether Baylan will return to season 2. The massive cliff hanger in Baylan’s arc at the end of season 1 suggests that the character will likely return for season 2, however with a new actor.
Though we don’t know the plot of Ahsoka season 2 yet, chances are the Mortis gods will play quite a big role given both their relevance in Star Wars: Rebels and the Ahsoka season finale prominently featuring their statues.
Though nothing is set in stone yet, we definitely have a lot to look forward to in Ahsoka season 2, so be sure to stay tuned.
